July 1st witnessed a new milestone for CASA of Franklin County as we joined with the Franklin County Board of Commissioners Office of Justice Policy & Programs. This merger combines CASA’s passion for helping abused and neglected children with OJPP’s dedication to improving responses and enhancing services for survivors of domestic crimes. It’s a partnership filled with promise as we look forward to opportunities for growth, the training of more volunteers and the chance to help more abused and neglected children in our community.
To the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, the CASA of Franklin County Board of Directors and everyone involved in this transition, especially the hundreds of CASA volunteer GALs without whom we could not work to better this community, “Thank you!”
Here's to a safer, brighter day for all the children of Franklin County!
